A daily feature of life in Brentwood Glen is lost travelers. Streets that dead-end unexpectedly, streets that change names and direction, frequent road closures due to eternal construction projects in the area: all of these factors mean that getting asked for directions in a frequent occurrence. This usually means directing people back to Sepulveda Blvd. I've been asked for:

• Montana Ave (meaning the other side of the rec center, so that means a U-turn back to Sepulveda...)
• "The Ocean" (U-turn back to Sepulveda, turn right, go down to Wilshire...)
• The Dutch Consulate (U-turn back to Sepulveda, turn right, go down to Wilshire...)
• UCLA (U-turn...)
• Santa Monica (U-turn back to Sepulveda...)
• Hollywood (yikes, wrong part of town...)
• "The Museum" (The Getty is on a nearby hill, but to get there it's a U-turn back to Sepulveda...)
